Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information DawatLink (operated by Faisal Hussain IT Services, Islamabad, Pakistan) collects when you use dawatlink.com, why we collect it, and how you can ask us to delete it. We keep it short and plain.

What we collect

• Invitation details that you type into the studio: names, family lines, event dates, times, venues, addresses, map links, messages and an optional WhatsApp number for RSVPs. These are shown on your invitation page to anyone who has the link.
• Contact details you choose to give us: an email address and/or phone number, so we can send you your order link and help you. Both are optional.
• Payment information: the amount and the Easypaisa transaction ID (TID) you enter, and the payment confirmation message we receive, so we can match your payment to your order. We never ask for your Easypaisa PIN, card number or password.
• Guest replies (RSVP) for Premium invitations: the name, optional phone number, number of guests, attendance and message that a guest submits. Only the host can see them, through a private link.
• Technical information: your IP address and browser type, used for security, to stop spam and abuse (for example rate limits), and to keep the service working.

How we use it

• To create, show and deliver your invitation, image and video.
• To confirm your payment and contact you about your order.
• To prevent fraud, spam and misuse.
• To understand, in total numbers, how many people visit, preview and order, so we can improve the service.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with anyone except the service providers we need to run the website (web hosting and email delivery) and, if you use our website while Meta Pixel is enabled, Meta (Facebook) as described below.

Cookies and tracking

• dl_ref: if you arrive through a friend or partner link, this cookie remembers the discount code for 60 days so it can be applied to your order.
• Meta Pixel (when enabled): helps us measure our Facebook and Instagram adverts. It loads only after you interact with the page and may set Meta cookies such as _fbp. Meta’s own privacy policy applies to that data.
• Your browser’s local storage keeps an unfinished invitation draft on your own device so you don’t lose your work. It never leaves your phone unless you create an order.

Who can see your invitation

Anyone with your invitation link can open it, so share it with the people you are inviting. Invitation pages are marked so search engines should not list them. Your order page, edit link and guest list have private links: keep them to yourself.

How long we keep it

Invitations stay online for at least 12 months after payment. Unpaid orders and their details may be deleted after they expire. We keep payment records as long as needed for accounting and to resolve disputes.

Your choices

• You can ask us to delete your invitation, order details or guest replies at any time. We will delete it, except records we must keep for accounting.
• You can ask what information we hold about your order.
• You can block cookies in your browser settings; the website will still work.

Children

Birthday and aqiqah invitations may include a child’s name, which the parent or guardian chooses to share. We do not knowingly collect any other information about children.
